Grilled Caprese Salad

This delicious twist on the classic caprese salad from Whole Foods is perfect for summer picnics (the sun is finally out in Boston!)



Ingredients: 

3 tablespoons olive oil, plus more for greasing
2 pints cherry tomatoes
1 (12-ounce) container fresh mozzarella, drained and cut into (1-inch) chunks
1/2 loaf ciabatta bread, cut into (1-inch) cubes
Salt and pepper to taste
Balsamic vinegar (optional)
1/2 cup basil leaves
